This is an app that allows you to check the polarity of a speaker, whether it moves forward or backward.
The app can be useful when you have a good working sound system and all the speakers are wired correctly.
It can also be useful for testing almost all sound sources, like large-scale concert PA systems, home theater systems, studio monitors, car audio, and even headphones.
How to use it:
When measuring, you have two options:
Measuring with a microphone:
This option allows you to select a frequency-dependent pulse signal to be played to the speaker. The microphone is used to measure the sound pressure.
It is important to keep the speaker and microphone in the same position, and the distance between them is also important.
If the speaker is not wired correctly, you can use this option to find out which way the speaker is wired.
The signal is measured with the microphone.
The results are displayed on the screen.
The app has an option to save the results.
The app has an option to play a sound.
